Running on localhost

Start your registry:

docker run -d -p 5000:5000 --restart=always --name registry registry:2

You can now use it with docker.

Get any image from the hub and tag it to point to your registry:

docker pull ubuntu && doc...

dnf update kernel*

dnf install gcc kernel-devel kernel-headers dkms make bzip2 perl

export KERN_DIR=/usr/src/kernels/`uname -r`

mkdir /media/VBGuest
mount -r /dev/cdrom /media/VBGuest
cd /media/VBGuest

./VBoxLinuxAdditions.run

reboot

First you have to be in your repository, do the necessary cd-ing to get to your working directory. You now need to add the remote branch, and then fetch it. Do this by:

git remote add someUser git://github.com/someUser/someRepo.git

git fetch someUser
